Finding the balance between stewardship and energy and economic security



Professor Gary Wolfram, William Simon Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Hillsdale College, in an article yesterday, agreed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that overly stringent regulations by the EPA are putting fully 8% of the U.S. electricity capacity at risk.  He suggests that doing so "will raise the costs of production, reduce the reliability of the power grid, and result in a substantial drag on economic growth and employment."
